AUDIO CONTEMPLATIONS
A new audio contemplation is added when Marcus get's around to it.
THERE'S NO TIME LIKE THE PRESENT
In this audio contemplation Marcus talks about time and the present moment.
He says, "We often hear the phrase “There’s no time like the present” as a call to action, a reminder to get something done now, and not leave it until later on. But what if there’s more to that saying than first meets the eye. What if the reason there’s no time like the present is because there’s no time at all?"
SEEKING AWAKENING: The Endless Search for What's Already Here
In this audio contemplation Marcus talks about Awakening, and how the search prevents seeing what's already here. He says, "Many people who embark on spiritual journeys find themselves in search of what’s often called 'awakening' or 'enlightenment'. This is typically framed as a mystical or transformative state where all the difficulties of Life dissolve, and a person steps into a state of eternal peace, clarity, and understanding."
THE THING ABOUT THINGS
In this audio contemplation Marcus talks about the concept of 'things'. He says, "It seems natural to think of the world as being made up of 'things'. We label objects, people, and experiences to make sense of them. “That’s a tree. This is my body. These are my thoughts.” But when we look closer, something much deeper begins to reveal itself - there are no 'things' at all."
LETTING GO OF THE NEED TO KNOW
In this audio contemplation Marcus talks about the freedom that comes from letting go of the need to know everything. He says, "There’s a subtle but powerful urge that drives much of our lives: the need to know. We seek answers, explanations, and understanding, hoping that if we can just figure it all out, we’ll find peace. But what if the very act of needing to know is what keeps us from the peace we’re seeking?"
RELAX, NOTHING IS UNDER CONTROL
In this audio contemplation Marcus talks about the idea of personal control.
He says, "We all like to believe we’re steering the ship. We plan, we organise, we tweak the details, hoping to keep Life neat and tidy. But let’s be honest - Life has other ideas. It twists and turns, takes detours, and throws surprises our way when we least expect them."
DON'T TAKE YOUR LIFE PERSONALLY
In this audio contemplation Marcus talks about not taking our Life personally.
He says, "At the heart of taking Life personally is the idea that we control our lives. We believe that every thought we have, every action we take, and every result we get is somehow a reflection of our own doing."
NO CAUSE AND EFFECT
In this audio contemplation Marcus talks about cause and effect.
He says, "We’re often taught that Life operates in a straightforward way - one thing happens, then another. It’s easy to believe that every event has a cause, and every result can be traced back to something that made it happen. But when we look more deeply, we begin to see that Life doesn’t really work this way."
LIFE IS
In this audio contemplation Marcus talks about Life.
He says, Life is not something to understand or figure out. It’s not an equation to solve, nor a puzzle to complete. Life is simply here, as it is. In every breath, in every sound, in every moment, Life expresses itself effortlessly. There’s no need to define it, no need to shape it with thought. Life is already happening, perfectly, just as it always has.
MURMURATION OF LIFE
In this audio contemplation Marcus talks about the murmuration of Life.
He says, "Have you ever watched a murmuration of starlings? That swirling, shifting, breathtaking movement in the sky - thousands of birds turning, dipping, and rising together, as if guided by some unseen force. There’s no leader, no grand plan, and yet the whole movement is harmonious, flowing effortlessly as one. It’s a living dance, unfolding without effort, without control."
IT HAPPENS BY ITSELF
In this audio contemplation Marcus ask us if we've noticed how 'Life Happens by Itself'.
He says, "Have you ever noticed how Life moves on its own? Without your effort, your heart beats, your lungs fill with air, and your thoughts rise and fall. Life happens, effortlessly. There's no need to control it, no need to make it happen - it’s already unfolding, just as it is."
LET GO AND LET LIFE
In this audio contemplation Marcus talks about 'Letting Go and Letting Life' be as it is.
He says, "There’s a subtle art to letting go. In a world that often encourages control, planning, and effort, the idea of simply letting Life unfold can feel counterintuitive. But in reality, letting go isn’t about giving up or becoming passive - it’s about recognising that Life is already happening, effortlessly, without the need for intervention or control."
